Global Facility Solutions’ Announces New Client, Johns Hopkins Health System Corporation

Mt. Airy, MD – December 20, 2010 – Global Facility Solutions (GFS), an independent and objective facility solutions provider headquartered in Maryland, today announced the recent addition of a new client, Johns Hopkins Health System Corporation.

As part of the contract, GFS will work with Johns Hopkins Medical Management to perform HVAC system retro-commissioning services at three Johns Hopkins Medical facilities totaling over 245,000 sq. ft. of building space.

The services fall under the BGE Smart Energy Savers Program®. GFS will provide turn-key retro-commissioning services including facility energy audits, retro-commissioning plan development, implementation and completion of necessary BGE rebate documentation to reduce energy costs at three Hopkins facilities. The work will help Hopkins obtain a $45,000 BGE rebate for the services performed at the buildings.

Work is already underway at the facilities. The anticipated project completion date is January 2011.

GFS is pre-qualified under the BGE rebate program to provide turn-key retro-commissioning services for BGE utility clients and can help clients obtain BGE rebates up to $15,000 per building. For more information, contact 301.829.1642.
